BRANZ offers partnership in the Climate Safe House project

BRCT is excited to announce that BRANZ has come on board to support the Climate Safe House project.  BRANZ Senior Social Scientist, Dr Casimir MacGregor, noted that the “Climate Safe House project provides an innovative and timely way to communicate building and climate science to the public through the co-creation of research that explores and provides a practical solution and response to climate change and the transition to a low carbon economy.”  BRANZ will provide support to help identify the technical issues and / or answering them where needed e.g. weather-tightness related to transportable buildings, the low-carbon design, life cycle assessment, etc.  The BRANZ support will help BRCT to deliver a future-focussed climate safe house design based on sound science and best practice.
